In 2019, my son / business partner Frantz and I founded Bon Manje with Chef Marie Alice to meet the growing demand of a generation of young Haitian-Americans with an insatiable thirst to learn more  about their culture. This generation is especially curious about Haitian cuisine. We also realize hard working people don't always have enough time to put a home cooked meal on the table every night. We are dedicated to providing a delicious culinary experience in an effort to continue the healthy eating lifestyle that we and our ancestors have enjoyed in our homeland.

Being raised in a household with four brothers and three sisters, not to mention countless family members who have lived with us at one time or another, we were poor but rich in God’s grace and mercies. This is to say that anything my Mom brought to the table, whether it was cornmeal (mais moulin), rice and beans or ble (bulgar wheat), it was exquisite.

I am fortunate to have learned so much from her and combine it with my knowledge of the modern culinary world to bring forth this food service with a little twist and turn from the traditional way of preparing meals.
